SMS Communication Consent

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from PROOF, you consent to receive text messages from PROOF at the phone number associated with your account. These messages may include:

  • Account notifications and updates
  • Authentication codes and security alerts
  • Service status updates
  • Customer support communications
  • Marketing communications (only if you've opted in)

Message Frequency & Charges

Message frequency varies depending on account activity. Standard message and data rates from your wireless provider will apply. PROOF does not charge for SMS messages, but your wireless carrier may charge you for incoming and outgoing text messages according to your phone plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message from PROOF. After you opt out, we will discontinue sending SMS messages to your number, except as required by law or for critical service notifications.

If you opt out and later wish to receive messages again, reply START to any message, or update your preferences in your PROOF account settings.

SMS Security

We use SMS for account security and important notifications. Never share authentication codes or security-related SMS messages with anyone. PROOF will never ask you to confirm sensitive information like passwords via SMS.

Data Privacy

Your phone number and SMS message data are protected under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS data is encrypted and securely stored.

Service Availability

SMS delivery may be affected by network conditions or carrier limitations. PROOF makes reasonable efforts to deliver SMS messages promptly, but we cannot guarantee delivery. For critical communications, we recommend checking your account via the PROOF dashboard or website.

Compliance

PROOF's SMS service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). We maintain compliance with carrier requirements and industry best practices for SMS communication.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our SMS service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
